Booking & Payment:

All bookings run from Saturday to Saturday.

A non–refundable/non-transferable deposit of £300 must be paid within 7 days to confirm your booking, if the deposit is not received within 7 days your provisional booking request will be cancelled.

The balance must be paid in full 10 weeks before the holiday date.

Payments to be made by straight forward UK bank transfer, (our bank payment details will be in your booking confirmation email.)

Bookings made less than 10 weeks before your holiday date must be paid in full at time of booking.

If full payment is not received by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking and re-advertise the week as available.

If any changes to the confirmed booking are required, we will try to be flexible wherever possible.

Cancellation Policy:

If a confirmed booking is cancelled by you less than 10 weeks before the start of your holiday, you will forfeit all monies paid.

If you cancel your confirmed booking more than 10 weeks before the start of your holiday date, we reserve the right to retain all monies paid to date. However, if we are able to re-sell the cancelled week at the same price, any money already paid by you (less the non-refundable deposit) will be refunded, subject to the re-booked week being fully paid for and completed by the new booking group.

Responsibility:

The lead booker (person making the booking) must be over 18 years of age & is assumed to have full authority of all the people on the booking form and to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of all the persons named.

The age of any anglers under 18 years old must be shown on the booking form.

Travel:

We are not responsible for any travel arrangements & do not accept any responsibility for any disruptions whatsoever to your travel arrangements.

Insurance:

All clients are strongly advised to arrange a travel insurance policy covering medical costs, cancellation and for the party’s personal belongings, public liability etc. as these are not covered by us. It is also the clients responsibility to be in possession of a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) in case of medical emergencies.

Passports:

These requirements are your responsibility and we accept no responsibility for any delay or expense incurred through any irregularity in your documents. It is essential that guests ensure they hold a valid passport.

Children:

Genets lake is a fishing venue and is not at all suitable for young children. Non-Anglers under the age of 16 are not permitted. Groups bringing anglers under the age of 18 do so at their own risk, they must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.

Fishery Rules:

Guests agree to abide by the lake rules clearly set out on the website, and displayed in the lodge & near the swims.

Complaints Procedure:

In the unlikely event that you have a complaint during your stay this should be brought to our attention as soon as possible, we will do our very best to rectify it. Complaints will not be considered after the end of your holiday with us.

Liability:

Under no circumstances will our liability to you exceed the amount paid to us for your holiday.

FORCE MAJEURE:

We are not liable for any loss, delay or cancellations due to the following: Fire, storm, flood, closure of ports, weather/ technical problems to transport, acts of god, industrial disputes, strikes, riots, political unrest, war or any other event or circumstance beyond our control.
